Harratts was established in 1966 in Ossett, West Yorkshire by Derek & Stella Harratt, and now operates 10 Dealerships throughout Yorkshire together with a fully approved Bodyshop, all of which are within 50 miles of the original site. Harratts hold five official manufacturer franchises - Nissan, Renault, Peugeot, Mitsubishi and Volvo - in fact they continue to be the largest independent Volvo Dealer in the country.

Harratts constantly invest in their staff with regular training, thus keeping up to date with changes in the industry and the market, with the main focus always remaining on quality sales and after sales customer care.  Continual research is conducted through customer satisfaction surveys to maintain their high levels of customer satisfaction.

Around 3500 new vehicles and 4600 used ones are sold each year, and the Harratts Corporate Sales division is one of their most rapidly growing sectors, with over 1000 vehicles now regularly being sold annually.
