The Harratts Kia Wakefield service centre is at our stand-alone dealership on Calder Park. You can find that just off Denby Dale Road, a couple of minutes from junction 39 of the M1.
Kia cars are renowned for their quality and longevity, as well as their outstanding fuel economy and low emissions. Regular servicing is a vital part of maintaining this – even the smallest of faults can have a negative impact on performance and efficiency. You also need to make sure that you car’s emissions are within legal limits, as set out in the latest MOT regulations (valid from May 2018).
Even if there are no obvious problems, we recommend that you bring your Kia in every 12 months to make sure everything is in order – which is why we offer a free Vehicle Health Check alongside your annual MOT test.
That depends on the age of your car, the mileage, and the engine type. If you drive a petrol, electric or hybrid Kia you’ll have to come in for a service every 12 months or after 10,000 miles – whichever of the two comes first. Diesel Kia cars have a different servicing interval – every 12 months or 20,000 miles.
Besides the regular servicing, you’re also required by law to have an annual MOT test. That looks at your brakes, tyres, mirrors, lights and other key components but not the engine, clutch or gearbox.
To ensure your car is in good mechanical condition, Harratts offer a complimentary Vehicle Health Check when you bring your car in for an MOT. We take a look at everything the MOT doesn’t cover, giving you total peace of mind out on the road.
We’re an approved Kia dealership with experienced technicians. They know everything there is to know about Kia cars, so your vehicle is in safe hands.
They make sure that only the correct oil and fluid types are used during servicing.
If any repairs need to be made we have genuine Kia parts in stock here at the garage; if they’re not in stock we can get next day delivery and get you back on the road as soon as possible. Using genuine Kia parts ensures the correct fit. They’re also high-quality and long-lasting, potentially saving you money of further costly repairs in future.
It can be hard to keep track on when your next service is due, which is why we’ll send you handy reminders a few weeks in advance so you can get booked in with plenty of time to spare.
