Nissan cars consistently come out on top in consumer rankings. As one of the biggest selling Japanese brands on the market, they’re known for their reliability and durability.
You can help extend the lifetime of your Nissan by making sure it’s serviced regularly. That way any potential problems can be spotted early and dealt with before they become too costly.
On top of that you should get an MOT test every 12 months. That’s a legal obligation, but it’s also a big part of maintaining the Nissan’s impressive performance and efficiency.
An MOT test needs to be carried out by a trained and certified technician, but it shouldn’t take too long. Harratts offer a while-you-wait MOT; just take a seat in our showroom and enjoy the complimentary hot drinks and newspapers while we run through the test.
Is it a used car or did you buy it new?
Brand new cars need an MOT test within 3 years of the date it was first registered. After that you’re required to get it re-tested every 12 months, at least 28 days before the safety certificate expires.
We’re an approved Nissan service centre, which means we’ll deliver the best possible service when it comes to Nissan cars.
An MOT test is important, but it doesn’t cover all the vital mechanical components like the engine and the gearbox. That’s why we offer a Vehicle Health Check with every MOT test, at no extra charge.
Our garage has genuine Nissan parts in stock at all times. If there’s a part which isn’t in stock, we’ll order it for delivery the next day, so you won’t be without your car for too long.
Technicians in the garage here at Harratts receive regular training from Nissan, so you can rest assured that your car is in the best possible hands.
The Harratts Nissan service centre is located at our Wakefield Used Car Centre at 339 Denby Dale Road. If you’re on the motorway and in need of an urgent MOT test, we’re just a couple of minutes off junction 39 of the M1.
